Position Overview
The Human Resources Specialist supports the day-to-day execution of key HR programs. Working directly with employees, hiring managers, and HR leadership, you will help administer core processes like onboarding, benefits, and policy compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and maintains a deep understanding of human resource best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Partner with department managers to define role requirements and draft compelling job postings. Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring a strong, diverse talent pipeline. Coordinate the interview process, conduct background checks, and manage offer letters. Lead engaging new-hire orientations, ensuring seamless integration into the company culture.
2. Benefits & Compensation Administration
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Process benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations, and assist with annual open enrollment. Review compensation data to ensure accuracy and internal equity.
3. Compliance & Record Keeping
Ensure all HR practices, policies, and hiring procedures comply with local, state, and federal labor laws. Maintain accurate, highly confidential employee records, utilizing HR Information Systems (HRIS).
-Creating, implementing, and evaluating all human resource department policies, procedures, and structures.
-Managing health and life insurance programs.
-Designing and implementing effective training and development plans.
-Performing quarterly and annual surveys.
-Ensuring all employee records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience in HR administration, recruiting, or generalist roles.
Skills: Strong proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, BambooHR), Microsoft Office Suite, and deep knowledge of labor laws (such as FMLA and ADA).
