JOB OVERVIEW

Professional 2D Anime Animator Needed I am hiring an experienced 2D animator or animation team for an original, mature-rated anime series.
I already have the characters and can provide character bibles, scripts, scene directions, backgrounds, wardrobe, weapon references, and other production information.

Required Quality
Only apply if you can produce professional animation comparable in quality, movement, and intensity to:
* The Boondocks
* Hellsing Ultimate
* Black Lagoon
* Tokyo Ghoul
* Attack on Titan

These are quality references only. All work must be original.

The series includes graphic blood, violence, firearms, weapon usage, injuries, fight scenes, and mature themes. Do not apply if you are uncomfortable animating this content.

Portfolio Required
You must provide a relevant animation portfolio showing character movement, action, fight scenes, cinematic camera work, or completed animated scenes.

Illustration-only portfolios will not qualify. Applications without relevant professional animation samples will be declined.

Paid 30- Second Trial Test - $150

Shortlisted applicants will receive a paid 30-second trial for $150. It will not include dialogue or lip-sync but may include action, character movement, weapons, blood effects, backgrounds, camera movement, and sound effects.
Any sound effects must be original or legally licensed for commercial use. YouTube audio without confirmed usage rights is prohibited.

AI-generated animation, AI-generated drawings, AI-generated in-between frames, AI-generated backgrounds, or AI-assisted work is not permitted unless explicitly approved in writing beforehand.

The trial includes one reasonable revision round based on creative direction.
An applicant hired for the full production may receive an additional $50 welcome bonus.

Required Trial Files
An MP4 alone will not be accepted. You must submit:
* Final animation export
* Editable native project files
* Storyboard and animatic
* Roughs, keyframes, breakdowns, and in-betweens
* Original drawings and separated layers
* Backgrounds, props, weapons, and effects
*Rigs and reusable assets, if used
*Compositions and audio stems
*Fonts, plug-ins, and linked assets required to open the project
*Organized folders and handoff notes

Files must be organized so another animator can open the project, continue production, reuse assets, or revise previous work without starting over.

You must be comfortable collaborating with other artists and working within an established production pipeline. This project may involve coordinating with storyboard artists, background artists, animators, compositors, sound designers, and other team members to ensure a consistent, high-quality final product.

You may be required to provide progress files, timeline screenshots, layer structures, or a short workspace recording proving you created the submitted work. Stolen, traced, AI-generated, or secretly subcontracted work will be disqualified.

Ownership and Agreement
Before starting, the animator must sign an Animation Development Agreement (ADA) and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

All work created, provided, or submitted specifically for the paid trial or series—including drafts, drawings, animation, rigs, backgrounds, effects, reusable assets, and project files—will belong exclusively to me upon payment. I may edit, continue, reproduce, publish, monetize, and use that work without additional permission or payment.

Project materials may not be reused, sold, shared, leaked, subcontracted, or posted publicly without my written permission. No copyrighted third-party materials may be used without approved commercial rights.
