Weekly YouTube Video Editor Needed – Energetic Educational “Coach” Style Channel (Civics + Motivation)
I’m looking for a reliable, long-term video editor for an ongoing weekly YouTube series.
About the Channel
The channel is hosted by “Coach Payne.” The style is high-energy, motivational, and educational — think locker-room coach meets civics teacher. Content mixes serious teaching (U.S. Constitution, citizenship, history) with sports metaphors, workout breaks, quizzes, and strong calls to action.
Tone keywords: energetic, direct, motivational, slightly humorous, clear, and structured.
Sample Script (this is the exact style and pacing of every video)
Welcome to the channel. I’m Coach Payne, and I’m here to coach and train you to be the best citizen you can be through the Three C’s:
Civics.
Compassion.
And Cardio.
Now Coach Payne believes there are two types of people in this world: fountains and drains.
Fountains bring excitement, enthusiasm, and energy into the world. Drains suck the energy out of the room.
So if you’re a fountain and you’re ready to learn how to become a stronger citizen, then spike that subscribe button.
And if you’re a drain… take a lap.
Alright team, let’s get into it.
First off — what is civics?
Civics is the study of the rights and duties of citizens. And if you want to understand your rights and responsibilities, you have to understand how the government works.
Our government officially began operating on March 4th, 1789, and it has become one of the longest-lasting constitutional systems in world history.
Two claps for the Constitution.
But if we want this system to continue, we have to practice Coach Payne’s Three P’s:
Preparation.
Participation.
And Perspiration.
First — preparation.
You have to understand your rights, responsibilities, and how the system works. That means learning, studying, asking questions, and staying informed.
Second — participation.
Get off the bench and get in the game. Voting matters. Volunteering matters. Community matters.
As President John F. Kennedy once said:
“Ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.”
That’s an all-time locker room quote right there.
And finally — perspiration.
Being a good citizen takes effort. Democracy isn’t a spectator sport.
Now our first Chalk Talk is all about the Constitution — one of the most important documents in American history.
If you want the full backstory before we break down the Constitution, check out Coach Payne’s earlier film sessions covering:
the road to the American Revolution
the American Revolution itself
and the Articles of Confederation
Because the film room is where champions are made.
No sleeping in the film room. No slacking. If you’re showing up to class without a notebook, it’s up-downs.
But before we get civical… let’s get physical.
Coach Payne’s third C is Cardio.
We’ve got to stay in shape if we want to participate. Voting lines can be long. Volunteering takes energy. Democracy requires endurance.
So here’s your Coach Payne workout break:
Fifteen seconds of high knees.
Let’s go. Get those knees moving. Chop the feet. Move with purpose.
And if you want the full workout video, hit the link below.
Now if you still haven’t rip-moved and sacked that subscribe button… what are you waiting for?
Now let’s talk about Coach Payne’s second C: Compassion.
Compassion means recognizing when someone is struggling and choosing to care enough to help.
It’s empathy in action.
A good citizen doesn’t ignore people. A good citizen steps up for people.
And let me tell you something — toughness is not pretending you don’t care.
Real strength is being willing to care about others even when the world tells you not to.
So let that fear leave your body.
CARE:
Compassion.
Action.
Respect.
Empathy.
That’s Coach Payne’s acronym of the day.
And because compassion matters, Coach Payne donates ten percent of any profits from this channel to charities and community organizations.
So if you know a great nonprofit, community group, or organization making a difference, drop it in the comments below.
Alright team, back to civics.
We’re starting with the Principles of the Constitution — the foundation of our entire system of government.
And speaking of foundations…
Drop and give me ten squats.
What are you waiting for?
Now the Constitution is built on several major principles that shape how our government works.
These principles include:
Popular Sovereignty
Limited Government
Separation of Powers
Checks and Balances
Federalism
Judicial Review
And Republicanism
These ideas are the backbone of American government.
They answer questions like:
Who has power?
How is power limited?
Who checks the government?
And what role do citizens play?
Now in our next Chalk Talk video, we’re breaking down the first and one of the most important principles:
Popular Sovereignty.
The idea that government gets its power from the people.
We’ll talk about:
why the Founders believed this
why the colonies rejected monarchy
and why citizen participation still matters today
But before you head over there, let’s hit a quick review.
Coach Payne’s Two-Minute Drill.
Question 1:
What are Coach Payne’s Three C’s?
Question 2:
What are the Three P’s citizens should practice?
Question 3:
What is civics?
Question 4:
Name two Principles of the Constitution mentioned in today’s video.
Question 5:
Why do you think citizen participation is important in a democracy?
Pause the video, drop your answers in the comments, or challenge somebody watching with you.
Because champions review the film.
Now team, your next step is to click on the video:
“Chalk Talk Part 1: Principles of the Constitution — Popular Sovereignty.”
We’re going to break this concept down even further and connect it to real life.
And before you head over there, make sure you:
subscribe to the channel
hit the notification bell
and join the team
Because Coach Payne is building a community of:
Prepared citizens.
Compassionate citizens.
Participating citizens.
I’ll see you over in Chalk Talk.
Coach blows whistle
Class dismissed.
