COMPENSATION
Estimated workload: approximately 18–22 hours per complete 48-piece batch after onboarding. This is a fixed-price, deliverable-based gig—not an hourly position. Faster complete delivery is welcomed.
Please quote one flat price for the complete 48-piece weekly batch described below.
The selected applicant will first complete a $25 paid practical test. The test is paid through Remitly.
Approved completed batches are paid through Remitly within 24 hours.
ABOUT THE GIG
We are a multi-brand pet-media company with established visual systems, weekly editorial calendars, completed blogs, locked Canva templates, detailed production briefs, and company-provided content artifacts.
We are hiring an experienced Canva content-production specialist to assemble and package
This is a structured content-production role. The assigned blogs and company-provided artifact outputs drive every deliverable.
The company supplies:
• The completed weekly blogs
• The approved content angle for each deliverable
• Carousel structure and panel copy
• Captions
• Calls to action
• Hashtags
• SEO keyword phrases
• Metadata and alt-text guidance
• First-comment instructions when required
• Approved UGC photographs and videos
• Founder-shot iPhone photographs and videos
• Weekly blog image banks
• Storyblocks subscription access
• Artgrid subscription access
• Canva Pro
• Locked brand templates
• Brand standards and prohibited-language rules
• File-naming, export, folder, and quality-control instructions
The contractor turns these supplied materials into accurate, polished, properly presented content packages.
WEEKLY PRODUCTION BATCH
The complete weekly batch contains 48 finished content pieces:
• 8 brand Instagram carousels
• 4 founder-profile Instagram carousels
• 1 Cats of the World photo-essay carousel
• 8 designed brand Story frames
• 4
• 2 founder-profile
• 9
• 6 founder-profile
• 6 founder-profile
Total: 48 finished content pieces per weekly batch.
Individual carousel slides are not counted separately. Each carousel is one multi-slide content piece.
COMPLETE DELIVERABLE STANDARD
A content piece is not considered complete until all required companion materials have been properly packaged.
Depending on the assigned format, the completed package may include:
• Final exported visual files
• Complete carousel slide set
• Caption sidecar document
• Approved caption
• Approved call to action
• Hashtag set
• SEO keyword phrase
• Metadata
• Alt text
• First-comment instructions
• Correct file name
• Correct dimensions
• Correct version number
• Correct Google Drive folder placement
All required visual files and sidecar information are included in the quoted batch price.
PRODUCTION WORKFLOW
1. Review the assigned weekly blog.
2. Review the production brief and the specific content angle assigned to each deliverable.
3. Pull the corresponding company-provided artifact outputs, including panel copy, caption, CTA, hashtags, SEO phrase, metadata, alt text, and first-comment instructions.
4. Match the correct artifact output to the correct brand, platform, and content piece.
5. Select an approved photograph or video that supports the assigned blog angle and content.
6. Duplicate the correct locked Canva template.
7. Place the approved visual and supplied content into the template.
8. Apply the brand’s established palette, typography, layout, panel, cropping, and language rules.
9. Assemble all carousel slides or individual graphics required for the assigned content piece.
10. Prepare the required caption sidecar and companion information.
11. Complete the quality-control checklist.
12. Export, name, organize, and deliver the complete content package.
PHOTO-FIRST VISUAL RULE
The assigned blog, production brief, and company-provided artifact package establish the content.
Photo-first applies to the visual execution.
After reviewing the assigned content, the contractor selects an approved photograph or video that genuinely supports the blog angle. That visual then guides the crop, composition, and emotional presentation of the finished design.
MEDIA PROVIDED
Approved visual sources include:
• Approved UGC submissions
• Founder-shot iPhone photographs and videos
• Images provided with the weekly blog
• Storyblocks licensed photographs and videos
• Artgrid licensed photographs and videos
The contractor is expected to select the strongest approved visual for each assigned piece.
100% AI-FREE VISUAL-DESIGN POLICY
All visual design must be 100% AI-free.
The following may not be used:
• AI-generated photographs
• AI-generated videos
• AI-generated backgrounds
• AI-generated graphic elements
• Text-to-image tools
• Generative fill
• Generative expand
• Canva Magic Media
• AI-generated composites
• AI-generated replacement photography
• Any other generative visual-design feature
Only approved photography, supplied media, locked templates, and standard non-generative editing may be used.
The company may provide copy and metadata generated through its internal content artifacts. This does not authorize generative AI use in the visual-design process.
DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS
• The complete weekly batch is due Wednesday at 8:00 am Pacific Time.
• Revisions are completed between Thursday and Friday.
• The final corrected pass must be completed by Saturday at 8:00 am Pacific Time.
• Faster completion is welcomed.
• Review may begin as soon as the entire batch is submitted.
• Partial batches do not begin the formal review process.
• Multiple revisions are included until the work meets the original production brief and brand standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Advanced Canva Pro skills
• Strong social-media content-production portfolio
• Experience producing multi-slide carousels and Story graphics
• Experience working from completed content briefs
• Experience placing supplied copy accurately into structured templates
• Ability to maintain locked visual systems across multiple brands
• Strong visual judgment involving photography, cropping, layout, typography, and mobile readability
• Ability to process and organize a high-volume batch efficiently
• Excellent written English
• Ability to identify missing, awkward, duplicated, or incorrectly placed copy
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong file-naming and version-control discipline
• Experience using Google Drive
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and brand standards
• Willingness to comply with the 100% AI-free visual-design policy
PAID PRACTICAL TEST
The selected candidate will complete an approximately two-hour practical test.
The test pays $25 through Remitly.
The company will provide:
• A completed blog excerpt
• Assigned content angles
• Company-provided artifact outputs
• Approved photographs
• Locked Canva templates
• Brand standards
• File-naming and delivery instructions
The test will evaluate:

• Production speed
