We're FaberX, an
This is a core team role, not a one-off gig. We're looking for someone hungry, fast, and reliable who wants to grow with us and become a central part of the team.
You'll turn out a high volume of short vertical videos — up to around 30 a day. Some are simple (the benchmark is roughly 5 minutes to cut a clean 1-minute vertical); some are more involved when you're sourcing overlays, b-roll, or assets. And if you can prove you deliver quality at scale, there's the opportunity to take on longer-form YouTube editing in the future too.
HOW PAY WORKS
Pay is monthly and reflects your output and the complexity of the work — the more you produce at our standard, the more you earn. It starts in the $400–$650/month range depending on volume and complexity, with room to grow to $750+ for top performers and higher-paid YouTube edits later on. Final rate is agreed after a short trial. Tell me the rate you'd want when you apply.
THE TRIAL
Because this is competitive pay with genuine room to grow, shortlisted editors do a short trial first — a few sample edits (around 3 types of content I need) on our style — so I can see your speed and quality before we start. Only editors who hit the standard move forward.
WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE
Turn batches of raw footage into short vertical videos (9:16)
Mostly simple, fast edits: clean cuts, captions, basic b-roll/overlays
Some heavier edits when sourcing assets, overlays, or effects
Consistent style and quality across everything you deliver
Fast, reliable turnaround — volume matters here
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Fast, clean short-form editing (TikTok / Reels / Shorts) — show it in your portfolio
Someone hungry who wants a long-term, core role and will grow with us
Speed and consistency at volume, without dropping quality
Fluent with CapCut and/or Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve
Comfortable with captions, b-roll, overlays, and simple motion/text
Reliable, communicative, dependable, and takes feedback well
Reliable internet and a machine that handles editing smoothly
NICE TO HAVE
DTC / e-commerce or marketing/agency editing experience
Long-form / YouTube editing
Basic sound design and color correction
HOW TO APPLY (READ CAREFULLY)
To apply, do all five:
Start your application with the word REELS so I know you read the full post.
Send a link to your portfolio or 2–3 short-form videos you personally edited (say what you did on each).
In 2–3 sentences, tell me: what makes a short-form hook actually work?
Tell me roughly how many simple 1-minute videos you can realistically edit in a day.
Tell me the rate you'd want (per video or per month) and how you'd prefer to be paid.
Applications that skip any of these, or that are copy-paste generic, won't be reviewed. Shortlisted applicants do a short trial before regular work.
