JOB OVERVIEW

Kalilos is a fast-growing agency managing dozens of e-commerce accounts. We're hiring a Data & Automation Engineer to own the technical side of how we work — the dashboards, automations, bots, and AI agents that turn raw performance data into decisions.

You do not need any e-commerce or Amazon experience. Our specialists bring the domain knowledge; you bring the engineering. From your side it's just KPIs and data — which you'll pick up quickly. What matters is that you can take a messy, manual process and turn it into something automated, reliable, and self-serve.

What you'll do
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards (HTML/JS, Google Apps Script + Sheets) that track performance across accounts
- Automate recurring reporting and data pipelines — pulling reports, cleaning data, scheduled triggers, alerts
- Build internal bots and AI agents (Slack automations, LLM-powered tools, prompt-driven "skills") that take repetitive work off the team
- Own our Claude library and skills development across the team — building, maintaining, and improving the reusable AI skills the whole team relies on
- Turn one-off analyses into repeatable tools that other people can run themselves
- Work directly with our specialists, who define the logic and KPIs — you translate it into working software

What we're looking for
- Strong data analysis skills — comfortable with spreadsheets, CSVs, and turning data into clear visuals
- Solid coding: JavaScript, Google Apps Script, and HTML/CSS (Python a plus)
- Experience building automations and integrations via APIs
- Hands-on with AI/LLM tools (Claude, ChatGPT) — prompt engineering and building agents/workflows
- Self-directed: can take a rough brief and ship a finished, tested tool
- Excellent written English and clear async communication

Nice to have
- SQL / working with larger datasets
- Prior experience building internal tools or dashboards for a team
- Amazon Seller experience
- Any exposure to marketing or advertising analytics (not required)
