JOB OVERVIEW

JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOET Group LLC is hiring a part-time remote Graphic Designer & Website Builder to support brand design and website work across our growing portfolio of businesses, including a new consulting brand currently in development.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Design logos, brand identity materials, and marketing graphics
Build and maintain websites (WordPress, Wix, Shopify, or similar platforms)
Optimize existing websites for speed, usability, and SEO
Apply on-page SEO best practices (keywords, meta descriptions, site structure)
Provide ongoing website management and upkeep after launch, not just one-time builds
Collaborate on visual direction for a new brand launching later this year

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Strong portfolio of logo/brand design work (required, please include links or samples)
Proven experience building full websites, not just templated pages
Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals
Comfortable with long-term site maintenance and updates, this is not a one-and-done project role. As our business grows, we'll likely be building and maintaining websites for clients as well, so we're looking for someone who can grow with us long-term
Strong written English and clear communication
Independent and forward thinker who can offer design/strategy suggestions, not just execute instructions
Hard-working with strong follow-through
Responds to emails and messages within 24 hours

HOURS: Part-time, flexible, roughly 10-15 hrs/week. This role has the potential to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate. We're looking to build a long-term relationship, not a short-term project hire, and want someone who's interested in growing with us for the long haul.
PAY: Starts at $7/hr, more based on experience and portfolio strength
