Graphic Designer – Sportswear Apparel (Remote)

About the Role

We’re an established Australian-based custom apparel company looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join our growing team. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who understands custom sportswear design and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

We’re looking for someone who can take a design from the initial customer brief through to final production-ready artwork while maintaining high quality, consistency and attention to detail.

Hours: 25–40 hours per week (depending on experience and availability)
Location: Remote. Part time - full time (opportunities)

What You’ll Be Doing

* Create custom sportswear concepts from customer design briefs.
* Design jerseys, polos, singlets, shorts, hoodies, jackets and other apparel.
* Prepare production-ready artwork for sublimation printing.
* Complete customer revisions quickly and accurately.
* Work from existing company templates while also creating original concepts.
* Vectorise logos and artwork when required.
* Create AI-assisted concepts and refine them into production-ready designs.
* Ensure artwork follows garment construction and manufacturing specifications.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
* Work closely with our Australian sales and customer service team.
* Take projects from design request through to production-ready files.

Essential Requirements

Must Have

* 3+ years’ experience in sportswear apparel design (or strong demonstrated experience).
* Excellent understanding of sublimated apparel and garment panel design.
* Strong Adobe Illustrator skills (essential).
* Experience preparing print-ready vector artwork.
* Understanding of colour matching, gradients, patterns and production limitations.
* Ability to work from customer briefs and create unique concepts.
* High attention to detail.
* Excellent English communication.
* Reliable internet connection.
* Able to work independently and manage deadlines.

Workflow

You’ll receive customer design requests through ---------- .

Each project generally includes:

* Customer brief
* Logos
* Colour requirements
* Garment templates
* Sizing requirements
* Revision requests

You’ll then:

1. Produce the initial concept.
2. Complete revisions based on customer feedback.
3. Finalise artwork.
4. Prepare production-ready files for manufacturing.

Turnaround Expectations

* Initial concepts: 2–3 business days
* Revisions: Within 24 hours where possible
* Strong communication if additional time is required.
