JOB OVERVIEW

About
We are a U.S.-based custom manufacturing company specializing in premium laser-cut metal signs, business signage, personalized décor, and commercial products. We are expanding our product line and are looking for a highly technical graphic designer with strong vector illustration skills to help develop new products from concept to production.

This is not a basic Canva or social media design position. We are looking for someone who understands manufacturing-ready vector artwork.

Responsibilities
Create original vector silhouette artwork for laser-cut metal products.
Convert ideas, sketches, and reference photos into production-ready vector files.
Design family name signs, monograms, business signs, outdoor décor, wall art, and seasonal products.
Create accurate laser-cut files with proper bridges, connections, and manufacturable layouts.
Produce realistic product mockups for Etsy, Shopify, Amazon, and other marketplaces.
Prepare production files for laser cutting and UV printing.
Assist with product development and expanding our product catalog.
Create personalized customer proofs.
Process and fulfill design orders accurately and on schedule.
Organize artwork and maintain file standards.
Work closely with our production team to ensure designs are manufacturing-ready.

Fiber laser cutting
CNC routing
Plasma cutting
UV printing
Metal fabrication

Understanding of:

Kerf compensation
Connected lettering
Bridge placement
No floating islands
Cut path optimization
Manufacturing tolerances
Mockup Skills

Must be able to create professional product mockups using:

Adobe Photoshop
Smart Objects
Perspective transforms
Lighting and shadows
Lifestyle mockups
Product presentation images
Order Fulfillment

Experience with:

Personalized customer proofs
File organization
Preparing production-ready artwork
Meeting daily deadlines
Managing multiple customer orders
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of professional vector graphic design experience.
Experience creating laser-cut or CNC-ready artwork.
Strong English communication skills.
High attention to detail.
Reliable internet connection.
Able to work independently.
Willing to learn new product categories.
Portfolio required.
