Marketplace Operations Manager – Bol.com

We’re OpalGoods, a fast-growing e-commerce company based in the Netherlands. We operate multiple successful Bol.com brands with a monthly revenue of €150,000–€200,000 and more than 30 products live.

We’re looking for a reliable, proactive, and data-minded person to manage the daily operations of one of our marketplace stores.

This is a broad role. You will work directly with the owner and be involved in supply chain, finance, customer service, store performance, suppliers, reporting, and automations.

The goal is to grow this into a full-time position with increasing responsibility and ownership.

Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of a Bol.com store
Monitor sales, margins, stock, rankings, and advertising performance
Manage supply chain planning and communicate with suppliers and fulfilment partners
Keep cash-flow, costs, invoices, and financial trackers up to date
Handle customer service cases
Maintain dashboards, reports, and operational documents
Monitor and improve workflows and automations created with Claude Code
Identify problems and take ownership of solving them
Requirements

You must have strong experience with:

Google Sheets
Notion
Slack
Professional written and spoken English

Your English must be close to fluent.

You should be comfortable using Google Sheets formulas such as IF, SUMIF, filters, sorting, and lookups.

Experience with Claude Code, programming, APIs, automations, Bol.com, Amazon, Shopify, supply chain, or finance is a strong bonus.

You must be accurate, proactive, independent, and comfortable taking responsibility.

Do not apply if you do not have strong experience with Google Sheets, Notion, Slack, and professional English communication.

Availability

You must be available and online during the late afternoon and evening, between 16:00 and 23:00 in your local time.

You do not need to work every hour during this period, but you must be available to respond and fix operational issues when needed.
