JOB OVERVIEW

We are a marketing agency focused on providing high-quality digital marketing services to medical offices. We’re currently looking for an expert Website Designer & Developer who would be responsible for designing and developing websites for clients, updating/maintaining websites for clients, troubleshooting and solving website issues, optimizing websites for SEO, and fully managing our website delivery services to our clients.

This role is for someone who is an EXPERT with HTML/CSS and the Astro framework. Your job is to take basic instructions provided by a client and design and build beautiful websites that is well-optimized for both Desktop and Mobile devices.

This person should also be an EXPERT with using AI coding systems, like Claude Code, as we lean heavily into these tools to execute our website building processes and website updates.

You will be responsible for staying up to date on the latest SEO/AEO best practices, design and conversion rate best practices, and speed optimization best practices.

Key Skills

- HTML & CSS:
Our websites are built with HTML & CSS on the Astro framework. So you must be an expert in this area.

- Claude Code
We build all of our websites using AI tools like Claude Code. So you must have experience using these types of AI tools and working with them to build websites.

- SEO & AEO
Since you are responsible for the websites, you will also oversee making sure our websites follow all the best practices for SEO/AEO. You'll perform SEM Rush site audits and fix technical SEO problems, optimize content, and more to help our clients rank high on search engines.

- DNS Records & Cloudflare
You must have a deep understanding of managing DNS records on domain names and have experience using Cloudflare.

- GitHub
You must have a deep understanding of GitHub. That includes doing push/pulls, creating branches, merging to main, etc.

Other Skills

- Graphic Design
Simple image editing/cropping
Be able to crop and resize pictures to create stunning website designs.

- Project Management Tools
Great documentation skills
Familiarity with tools like: ClickUp, Teamwork Projects, Asana, ---------- , etc.
Slack
Google Suite
Gmail / Google Docs / Google Drive / Google Calendar

General Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken (English). Must be highly proficient in English.
