JOB OVERVIEW

WordPress + WooCommerce Setup Specialist — Digital Products Brand
Part-time to start | Remote | Pay open based on skill | Urgent start

About the role
I'm a solo creator building VANTAGEarchive — a digital products brand selling guides and resources around solitude, self-reflection, and personal transitions. My WordPress + WooCommerce site is partially set up on SiteGround and needs to be completed and launched quickly.

What's already in place:
SiteGround hosting + WordPress installed
WooCommerce active
Kadence theme with Odette child theme installed
Coming soon page live (site not yet public)
All In One SEO plugin active (free version)
Brand assets ready (logo, hex codes, fonts) — packaged in Google Drive

Current build status: Several pages (Home, About, and a partial Explore page) already have work started, following an established brand design system (fonts, colors, layout rules) that must be matched precisely. Some pages still need to be built from scratch (including a dedicated Archive page). Please note: pages that already have work done should not be assumed to be final — review what's there and flag anything that looks like it needs adjustment rather than treating it as untouchable.

Project scope — VANTAGEarchive
Page build-out:
Home and About are largely built — remaining work is finishing details and a full responsiveness/QA pass rather than building from scratch
Explore page needs its interactive layout completed (supporting pages already exist)
Archive page needs to be built from scratch
Contact, Blog index, and Legal pages (Privacy Policy, Terms of Service) still need to be built
Apply brand styling consistently across all remaining pages (design system already established)

WooCommerce configuration:
Set up paid product listing ($7 mini guide — PDF delivery)
Set up free lead magnet product listing
Create discount code
Configure checkout settings and order confirmation flow
Test purchase flow end-to-end

Email
+ transactional setup:
Brevo + FluentSMTP and domain email are already configured — verify setup and run an end-to-end test of transactional emails (order confirmation, file delivery, subscribe form)

SEO foundations:
Configure All In One SEO (site title, meta descriptions, sitemap)
Submit sitemap to Google Search Console
Set up basic on-page SEO for all key pages
Advise on any recommended plugin upgrades

Social + integrations:
Social icons are already set up on some pages — extend consistently to any remaining pages

Site health + admin:
Caching, backup, and performance plugins are already installed — verify configuration
Security plugin review and basic hardening
Google Analytics connected
Coming soon page removed, site launched

Big bonus — teaching as you go
I want to be able to handle basic tasks myself without always waiting on someone else. If you're patient, clear, and willing to walk me through what you're doing as you build — that is a huge plus and something I will actively look for in interviews. I'm not technical, but I'm capable and I learn quickly. I'm looking for someone who treats this as a collaboration, not just a task list.

Who I'm looking for
Strong WordPress + WooCommerce experience (show me sites you've built)
Familiar with Kadence theme or similar block-based builders
Demonstrated mobile-responsive build experience (please note this explicitly in your application — sites that look great on desktop but break on mobile will not move forward)
Comfortable natively rebuilding a Figma or HTML/CSS mockup using Kadence's native blocks/design options (rather than copy-pasting the extracted HTML/CSS into custom HTML blocks) — please describe your approach to this in your application
Experience with SiteGround hosting environment
Knows their way around email deliverability (SMTP, Brevo or similar)
Comfortable with SEO plugin configuration
Communicates clearly and proactively in English
Reliable, meets deadlines, asks questions rather than guessing

Bonus: experience with digital product businesses or solo creator brands

To apply
Please include the following — applications that skip these will not be reviewed:
Links to 2–3 WordPress/WooCommerce sites you personally built or configured
For each link, state whether you built it solo or as part of a team/agency, and describe your specific role
Confirm the site is mobile-responsive and that you handled that yourself
Brief description of your WooCommerce experience
Briefly describe how you'd approach converting a provided mockup into a Kadence page (native blocks vs. pasted code) — this helps us understand your workflow
Your availability and typical response time
One sentence about why you'd be a good fit for a solo creator brand
Please make sure the name/contact info you apply under matches your OnlineJobs profile

Rate is open and negotiable based on experience. If you're genuinely skilled, I'd rather pay fairly than go cheap and redo it.
