Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Flutter Developer to build and maintain the cross-platform mobile application for both iOS and Android. This role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to directly impact healthcare delivery through innovative technology.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with backend engineers, machine learning specialists, and clinical teams to create seamless experiences for both patients and care facility administrators.
Key Responsibilities
• Build, test, and deploy features within a Flutter/Dart mobile application across iOS and Android platforms.
• Develop and maintain role-based user experiences for patients and administrators.
• Integrate wearable devices and third-party platforms such as Spotify, Garmin, and Oura using OAuth 2.0 authentication flows.
• Implement real-time functionality through WebSockets, push notifications, and live data updates.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define and consume APIs.
• Work with machine learning teams to effectively present predictive insights and recommendations within the mobile application.
• Maintain and enhance Firebase Authentication and secure patient data handling practices.
• Write and maintain widget tests, integration tests, and automated testing frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining a scalable, high-quality codebase.
• Continuously improve application performance, usability, and reliability.
Required Qualifications
• Strong commercial experience developing mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
• Proven track record of shipping applications to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Deep understanding of Flutter architecture, state management, and scalable code organization.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and authentication systems including Firebase Auth, JWT, and OAuth 2.0.
• Experience working with real-time data delivery systems.
• Strong testing practices including widget testing, integration testing, and quality assurance.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience integrating wearable devices and health-related technologies.
• Experience working in healthcare, digital health, medical technology, or regulated software environments.
• Familiarity with WebSocket implementations and push notification systems.
• Experience working alongside machine learning or AI-driven products.
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance, healthcare security, or patient data privacy standards.
