JOB OVERVIEW

Hey there!

We're a small web development company on the East Coast, USA. Our team is fun, supportive, and fully remote, and we already work with amazing Filipino talent. We're excited to add a rockstar video editor to the crew.

Most gig posts want cheap and fast. This one wants great - and pays for it.

You will be editing raw Video Podcast, produce short-form, long-form for all social media platforms. We need an editor who takes a raw video and makes it visually compelling: motion graphics, animated text, b-roll, charts and visuals matched to the subject matter being discussed. Not slap-a-lower-third editing - the kind of edit that makes people stop scrolling.

Why this gig beats a salary job:

- Paid per project, not per hour: Work fast and well, your effective rate beats any full-time offer
- Recurring pipeline: Webinars, shorts, and podcasts on a regular schedule; nail the first projects and the work keeps coming
- We buy the tools: AI software, plugins, stock/b-roll subscriptions, whatever the edit needs. Tell us what makes you faster and better, we pay for it
- Creative freedom: You're hired for your eye, not to execute a checklist. Bring ideas; we want to be surprised
- First project is a paid test. We don't ask anyone to work free

You MUST have:

- 3+ years professional editing experience
- Expert Adobe Premiere Pro
- Motion graphics ability (After Effects or equivalent)
- Captions (Submagic, Premiere native, or similar) and color grading
- Comfort with AI editing tools — or eagerness to master them on our dime
- Ability to run with raw footage and minimal direction

To apply, send:

- Portfolio links: must include at least one talking-head/webinar-style edit you made visually interesting
- Per-project rates: short-form / long-form / webinar / podcast
- Typical turnaround per type
- One sentence: the coolest thing you'd do with a raw Zoom recording

No portfolio = we delete your info. Start your application with "ROCKSTAR EDITOR" so I know you read this.
