Experienced QuickBooks Bookkeeper (US EST/Remote, Part ---------- )
About the Role
We are seeking an Experienced Bookkeeper for a part/time freelance position to take total ownership of our financial tracking and build a bookkeeping system from the ground up. This is not an entry-level position. We need a seasoned professional who can look at our two business entities, tell us the most efficient way to structure our finances, and implement that system from A to Z.

Working hours for this position will always align with the US Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. This role will require a higher time commitment during the initial setup phase, tapering off to a flexible 2 to 3 hours per week once the system is running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
System Setup (From Scratch): Design, build, and implement a complete QuickBooks ecosystem for two business entities.

Accounts Payable (AP): Categorize and track bills, subscriptions, and payroll

Accounts Receivable (AR): Track and log incoming revenue, including incoming commissions and payments.

Payroll Integration: Assist with our ADP Payroll system—specifically onboarding/setting up new employees and optimizing the payroll workflow.

Ongoing Maintenance: Efficiently log, track, and correctly categorize all monthly transactions to keep our books immaculate.

What We Are Looking For
Proven Experience: You have a strong track record of setting up QuickBooks systems from scratch for small businesses. You are an expert who tells us the best way to do things, rather than waiting for instruction.

ADP Proficiency: Familiarity with ADP payroll systems is highly preferred.

Time Zone Alignment: Ability to stay accessible and conduct your work during US EST hours.

Strong Internet Connection

Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills to manage two separate business accounts seamlessly.

Hours & Compensation
Hours: Freelance / As-Needed. Must align with US EST. Expect a higher time commitment during the initial setup and integration phase, tapering off to roughly 2 to 3 hours per week for ongoing maintenance.

Pay Rate: $5.00 per hour.

Growth: This position includes definite room to grow as our businesses expand.
