Studio Sama2 is a full-service marketing and content studio working with personal brands and businesses. We're looking for a skilled video editor to join our team on a project basis, with the goal of growing into a full-time role for the right person.
What you'll be doing:
- Editing short-form and long-form video content in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Color grading footage to a polished, cinematic standard
- Adding SFX and light VFX to elevate storytelling
- Animating text and motion graphics (kinetic typography, lower thirds, etc.)
- Structuring footage into compelling narratives — you understand pacing, rhythm, and composition, not just cutting clips together
- Collaborating closely with our creative team on concept and direction
- Able to produce 6–10 reels daily, each lasting about 8 minutes, more or less.
What we're looking for:
- Strong, demonstrated experience with Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects skills are a plus)
- A confident eye for color grading
- Experience with sound design / SFX and basic VFX
- Ability to animate text and create clean motion graphics
- A genuine sense of story — you know how to build a video, not just trim it
- Fluent English, both written and spoken — you'll be communicating directly with our team and sometimes clients
- A strong portfolio or reel that shows range (brand content, personal brand/social content, etc.)
- Reliable, deadline-driven, and comfortable giving creative input, not just following instructions
- An experience working with Slack,
