JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to help us get our company's finances fully organized.

Before you apply, here's an honest overview of where our business currently stands.

Our company is SouthView Cleaning Co., an exterior cleaning company based in Tennessee, USA. Over the past year we've grown quickly, but our accounting systems haven't kept up with our growth.

Here's our current situation:

• Approximately $100,000+ in transactions need to be reviewed, organized, and properly categorized.

• Our bookkeeping became complicated after a business partnership that has since ended. During that partnership, financial activity from both businesses became intertwined and now needs to be separated and cleaned up.

• We currently operate using Homebase360 as our CRM. It stores all customer information, invoices, and payment history, and is connected directly to Stripe for payment processing.

• We have multiple bank accounts that need to be reconciled and organized.

• We need accurate bookkeeping moving forward along with accounting systems that will allow the business to scale without creating this type of problem again.

This is the challenge you'll be helping us solve.

The initial project will be cleaning up several months of bookkeeping, organizing our financial records, reconciling bank accounts and payment processors, separating partnership-related transactions where necessary, and building a solid accounting system that we can rely on moving forward.

This is more than simply entering transactions into QuickBooks. We're looking for someone who can identify problems, recommend improvements, create better workflows, and help build accounting systems that will support the long-term growth of the company.

You should have strong experience with QuickBooks Online, account reconciliations, bookkeeping, and working with U.S.-based businesses. Experience with Stripe, payroll, and service businesses is a plus.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, communicates well in English, and can work independently without constant supervision. Accuracy is extremely important because you'll be working directly with the owner to organize the financial side of the business.

This position will begin as a part-time contract project focused on cleaning up our books. If you perform well, communicate effectively, and prove to be a great long-term fit, our goal is to offer you a full-time position at 40 hours per week starting at **$8 USD per hour or more**, depending on your experience and performance. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company for years, not simply complete a one-time project.
