JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT THE WORK

We produce YouTube content for two channels: a University of Oxford professor's channel (reaction videos and FAQ/talking-head videos about mindfulness and psychology) and a second personal-brand channel. We're building a long-term editing partnership — this is a stable monthly role, not gig work.

**You will not be editing from raw footage.** Every project arrives prepped:

- Premiere Pro project with all footage already synced (multicam, boom audio, screen recordings)
- A "paper edit" — a cut plan telling you exactly which takes to use, with timecodes
- A brand asset pack: header, lower thirds, intro cards, and font package
- Proxies for smooth remote editing

Your job is the finishing craft: execute the cut plan, tighten pacing, add the brand graphics, captions, music/SFX where appropriate, and deliver a polished 8–15 minute video.

WHAT YOU'LL DELIVER

- First draft within 24–48 hours of receiving a project
- Revisions from timestamped feedback ( ---------- or similar)
- Target throughput once up to speed: 4–6 finished videos per week

REQUIREMENTS

- Strong Adobe Premiere Pro skills, including working with proxies and multicam sequences
- A portfolio with long-form YouTube talking-head or reaction content (links required — include the channel/video URLs, not just clips)
- Good pacing instincts for YouTube: knowing what to trim, when to cut to the reaction, when to let a ---------- nt breathe
- Strong written English and reliable communication
- Reliable internet + a machine that handles 1080p proxy editing comfortably
- Some working-hours overlap with UK mornings for handoffs (we're UTC+1; Philippines UTC+8 works well)

Nice to have: basic motion graphics (Essential Graphics templates), captioning workflow experience, ---------- familiarity.

HIRING PROCESS

1. **Apply** with your portfolio links, your monthly salary expectation, and a few sentences on the best reaction-style video you've cut. Start your application with the word **KEEPER** so we know you read this far.
2. **Shortlist call or chat** (brief).
3. **Paid test edit** — one real video from our backlog, prepped exactly as described above. You'll be paid for it regardless of outcome.
4. **Paid one-month trial** at the agreed rate, then long-term.

We pay via Wise or EasyPay, on time, every time.
