IT Support Specialist (App Operations)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to manage, maintain, and support the technology infrastructure behind our mobile application. This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting software deployments, maintaining security, and assisting with the ongoing improvement of our app and internal IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of the mobile application.
* Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and network-related issues.
* Assist with app updates, testing, and deployments.
* Maintain user accounts, permissions, and system security.
* Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve technical issues.
* Monitor servers, databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
* Document technical procedures and maintain accurate IT records.
* Provide technical support to internal staff and end users.

Qualifications

* Experience in IT support, system administration, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, networking, and cloud-based technologies.
* Familiarity with mobile applications, APIs, databases, and cybersecurity best practices.
* Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Knowledge of SQL, mobile app platforms (iOS/Android), and version control systems.
* Understanding of cybersecurity, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
