Who we are

We’re Concept Accounting & Advisory, a Canadian CPA firm specializing in real estate businesses, brokerages, teams, and property investors across Canada. We’re small, growing fast, and building a modern, tech-driven firm without the corporate layers. We run on QuickBooks Online, Dext, TaxDome, and Microsoft 365.

We’re building our offshore team right now, and we’re hiring the people who grow with us as we scale. If you want to be an early, key member of a team (not employee #97), this is that.

What you’ll do

- Month-end bookkeeping and close (accrual and cash basis) for multiple clients in QuickBooks Online
- Provide in-depth analysis of client files, identify inaccuracies and inconsistencies, notify clients, and resolve issues independently.
- In-depth review of their clients' month-ends and financial statements (Balance sheet, P&L, aged payables, aged receivables)
- Ensuring clients’ books are kept up-to-date and are accurate and organized, meeting deliverable deadlines.
- Answering more complex bookkeeping-related support questions from clients through Taxdome
- Bank and credit-card reconciliations across client files
- Document and receipt processing in Dext
- Managing multiple clients of varying complexities simultaneously in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Post clear file notes and communicate daily with your manager on Microsoft Teams and Taxdome
- Spot process-improvement and automation opportunities as you learn our systems
- Assist with knowledge sharing and support the company’s growth by preparing and reviewing periodic SOPs, and helping maintain the firm SOP Library in Notion.

Must-have requirements (please don't apply without these)

- At least 2 years inside a CANADIAN accounting firm: we need working knowledge of Canadian GST/HST categorization and CRA processes from day one. (US-only or industry experience does not meet this bar for the senior role.)
- Real, hands-on QuickBooks Online experience as your daily tool: close and reconciliations. (Course/training-only QBO does not qualify — we won't be teaching you the software.)
- Based in the Philippines and able to work the full 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST night shift.
- Clear written and spoken English — you'll document work and communicate daily.
- Reliable internet (6 Mbps+ up/down) and a quiet workspace for a full night shift.
- A self-starter who works independently and asks when something’s unclear.

Nice to have (we'll help you grow into these)

- Licensed CPA (Philippines) — active PRC license.
- Experience with Dext and TaxDome.
- 8+ years total accounting experience

Compensation

- $1,800 – $2,200 USD/month, calibrated to your experience and trial results, plus the bonuses and benefits above.
