Project Driver LLC (Fort Lauderdale, FL) builds marketing and automation systems for US home-services businesses. The company is founder-led by an engineer and runs on requirements-first, test-everything, document-everything.
THE MISSION
The number one job here is simple to say and hard to do: bring in traffic and turn it into conversions, in a repeatable manner. Everything else is a tool for that. The right person understands the whole chain from search result to booked job, and treats anything that doesn't move that chain as a distraction.
THE ROLE
One long-term seat. Starting hours to be determined with the selected candidate, with room to grow into a full-time exclusive position.
SCHEDULE
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST, slight variance depending on project needs. Slightly modified hours can be discussed for the right candidate after proven success.
THE WORK
GoHighLevel: snapshots, workflows, pipelines, calendars, forms, A2P 10DLC, Conversation AI, integrations (n8n, Zapier, webhooks, APIs). Follow-up automations and lead routing that make sense, and attention to what's converting; so the stuff that isn't gets fixed.
WordPress: Elementor, Gutenberg, Rank Math, LiteSpeed, mobile QA, wiring GHL funnels and forms into WP so leads land somewhere. Pages built to convert, not just look good.
SEO: The whole picture. Technical (crawl issues, redirects, Core Web Vitals, site structure), on-page (content, schema, internal links), off-page (links, citations), local through national (GBP, map pack, service-area and multi-location work). Google changes, AI search changes, social feeds into it. Keeping up is part of the job.
Server-side: PHP fixes and small custom builds, cPanel, DNS, SSL, migrations, staging on reseller hosting. All the unglamorous work that keeps the rest running smoothly.
Honesty over everything. Nobody's an expert in all of this on day one. Gaps get trained for the right hire. What's expected is a straight answer on what you can do today versus what you're still learning. "Not yet" is respected. A bluff gets caught, and trust is what we're built on.
WHO THRIVES HERE
This seat runs without supervision. Whoever sits in it owns the work, they're responsible for it, they lead it, and they answer for it. That means dependable and reachable during working hours, no chasing, no radio silence. It means owning a problem until it's solved, researching before asking, and pushing projects forward without being pushed. And it means bringing better ways of working (faster, higher quality) before anyone asks.
NON-NEGOTIABLES
Attention to detail. Everything gets tested before handover, every time.
Communication. Clear progress updates, questions asked early, never radio silence.
Requirements confirmed before building. Documentation good enough that someone else could run it.
Team player, not a yes-man. If the plan has a hole in it, say so and provide a solution.
HOW TO APPLY
1. Describe one automation or build you did end-to-end: the requirement, what broke or almost broke, how you fixed it and documented it.
2. Describe one thing you built that produced traffic, leads, or conversions. What you did, and what happened after.
3. In your own words, one sentence: what does "a site that ranks but doesn't convert" mean to you? Do not use the words "traffic," "funnel," or "optimize" in your answer.
4. For each area under THE WORK, one honest sentence: what you've actually done, or "not yet."
5. Start your application with the word FLYWHEEL. Applications are read by a human who has seen thousands of these. Generic, AI-drafted, or template answers are obvious and get rejected unread.
6. Explain your hands-on experience with each of the following, one line each: A2P 10DLC registration, Conversation AI, workflow webhooks, and GHL's cadence mirror feature.
7. Describe a time you kept a project moving when nobody was checking on you, or when something kept failing and you didn't quit.
8. Provide a live intro video of yourself.
9. Link anything real that you've created: live site, portfolio, case study, GitHub, etc.
