Xactimate Estimator / Insurance Claims Specialist

Company: Powerluxe Roofing

Location: Remote (Full-Time)

About Us:

Powerluxe Roofing is a rapidly growing roofing and insurance restoration company based in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Texas area. We specialize in helping homeowners navigate the insurance claims process following hail and wind storms while providing exceptional customer service and quality workmanship.

We are looking for an experienced Xactimate Estimator / Insurance Claims Specialist to become a key member of our claims team.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already has extensive experience writing supplements, negotiating with insurance carriers, and understands residential roofing claims from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
- Write detailed Xactimate estimates and supplements.
- Review insurance carrier estimates and identify missing, underpaid, or code-required items.
- Submit supplements with proper documentation and photos.
- Follow up with adjusters until claims are resolved.
- Maintain accurate claim documentation inside AccuLynx.
- Understand Texas building codes and manufacturer requirements.
- Meet our internal turnaround goal of 12 hours or less on supplement requests.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, adjusters, and our internal team.
- Help maximize claim approvals while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Expert-level Xactimate experience.
- Proven experience writing roofing insurance supplements.
- Strong understanding of residential hail and wind claims.
- Experience negotiating with insurance carriers.
- Familiarity with Texas insurance restoration practices.
- Working knowledge of Texas residential building codes.
- Experience using AccuLynx CRM.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred:
- Experience working for a roofing contractor, restoration company, or public adjusting firm.
- Familiarity with steep-slope roofing systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturer installation requirements and code upgrades.
