JOB OVERVIEW

Hi!
We are Julie and Kevin, creators of Sirens, Scrubs & Suitcases. I am a NICU nurse and my husband is a Firefighter. We are building a travel brand that inspires couples to stop waiting for retirement and start traveling now. We are looking for a long-term creative partner- not just someone who edits videos but will help us grow our Instagram account from the ground up. We would like to start to post 1-2 high quality instagram reels per day and we need someone who loves storytelling, fun and light humor, and social media. Our goal is to build a large travel community and eventually expand into YouTube, TikTok, brand partnerships and affiliate marketing.

Your responsibilities:
1. Edit Instagram Reels (30-90 seconds)
2. Create engaging hooks that capture attention within the first 3 seconds.
3. Add captions, text overlays, transitions, music and sound effects
4. Design attractive cover images
5. Organize our Capcut video footage
6. Suggest trending Reel ideas an audio
7. Draft captions and hashtags
8. Help us maintain a consistent posting schedule
9. Help increase views and engagement

We will provide the footage, voiceovers, and creative direction. We want someone who can take our raw clips and turn them in to videos that are entertaining and that people want to watch

Ideal Candidate:
Must speak English
Has experience editing instagram reels
Understands pacing and storytelling
Knows what makes people stop scolling
Is dependable and communicates well
Want to grow with our brand
Has travel content experience
