JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing driving school helping students become safe and confident drivers. We create educational, entertaining, and conversion-focused content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and paid advertising platforms.

We're looking for a talented Video Editor who understands both social media content and direct-response advertising. Your primary goal will be creating videos that generate leads and help grow our business.

What You'll Do

Paid Advertising (Primary Focus)

* Edit high-converting video ads for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
* Create multiple variations of ad creatives, hooks, and CTAs
* Add captions, motion graphics, sound effects, music, and B-roll
* Improve viewer retention and engagement through strong pacing and storytelling
* Follow creative briefs while bringing your own ideas to improve performance

Social Media Content

* Edit Reels, Shorts, and TikTok-style videos
* Turn long-form footage into engaging short-form content
* Add trending editing styles where appropriate
* Create content that is educational, entertaining, and shareable

YouTube Content (Occasional)

* Edit longer educational and promotional videos
* Create engaging intros, transitions, and on-screen graphics
* Maintain audience retention throughout longer videos

Requirements

* Proven experience editing social media content and paid ads
* Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube content formats
* Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software
* Excellent understanding of pacing, hooks, storytelling, and viewer retention
* Strong English comprehension
* Ability to meet deadlines and communicate consistently
* Reliable internet connection and computer setup

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

* Experience editing content in the automotive, driving, education, or local business industries
* Motion graphics experience
* Thumbnail design experience
* Understanding of Meta Ads and direct-response marketing
* Experience using AI tools for content creation and editing

* Producing clean, professional edits with minimal revisions
