Virtual Assistant – Odoo Implementation Specialist

Company: Bollard Depot
Type: Part time/ Full time
Location: Remote
Pay: Minimum $8 per hour increased based on previous experience and projects.

About the Role

Bollard Depot is looking for an experienced Odoo specialist to build out our ERP system from the ground up. We have a basic/partial Odoo setup in place and need someone who can take it from a starting foundation to a fully functional, production-ready system tailored to our business.

Responsibilities

Review our existing Odoo instance and current configuration
Design and implement a complete Odoo system covering Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, Accounting, Website/eCommerce.
Configure modules, workflows, and automations specific to Bollard Depot's operations
Migrate/import existing data (products, customers, vendors, inventory)
Set up user roles, permissions, and approval workflows
Test the system end-to-end and fix issues before go-live
Document configuration and provide basic training/handover materials
Provide ongoing support post-launch and potentially become part of the operations team.

Requirements

Proven experience implementing Odoo systems from scratch (not just customizing existing setups) — please share past projects/portfolio
Strong knowledge of core Odoo apps: Sales, Inventory, Purchase, Accounting
Experience with data migration/import into Odoo
Comfortable working independently from a brief/starting point with minimal hand-holding
Clear written and verbal English communication
Available for regular check-ins/calls during GMT time

Nice to have

Experience with Odoo for manufacturing.
eCommerce or website module experience
Custom module development (Python/XML) if needed
