JOB OVERVIEW

I edit for an established golf YouTube channel and I'm hiring one
editor to take over first-cut editing long term. The work is
steady and simple, but I'm strict about a few things, so please
read the whole post.

THE JOB
You get proxy footage (about a 5GB download per video) through
Google Drive. You build the story cut: clips in the right order,
dead space and bad takes cut out, best takes chosen. No music, no
titles, no graphics, no color, no export. I handle all After
Effects and final delivery. You send back the project file, so
there's no big upload on your end.

THE STYLE
Instructional golf for an older audience. Calm, clear, story
first. No flashy zooms, no sound effect spam, no hype editing.
If you can make a round of golf feel like a story, you're who I
want. Watch a video or two from the channel I edit for so you
know the finished product:

HARD REQUIREMENT
You must run Adobe Premiere Pro 25.6.3. I'm locked to this version
and cannot open projects saved in newer ones. Creative Cloud lets
you install it alongside whatever version you use now. If you
can't or won't run 25.6.3, please don't apply.

PAY
Flat rate per video, and I tell you the tier before you start so
you always know what you're getting:
- Easy (short video, light footage): $45
- Standard (typical video): $60
- Big (long or footage-heavy): $85
I assign the tier when I send the footage. If a video turns out to
be more work than I called it, tell me and I'll raise it. Rates
also grow with speed and quality over time.

HOW TO APPLY (read carefully, this is stage 1 of 3)
Send me:
1. A screenshot of the COMPLETE timeline of the last long-form
video you edited, zoomed out so the entire video fits on
screen. I want to see how you actually work: your tracks, your
b-roll, your cuts.
2. One or two sentences on your editing experience.
3. Confirm you can run Premiere 25.6.3 and meet a 48 hour
turnaround.

EXTRA CREDIT: also send a short screen recording of you playing
one of your edits inside Premiere, so I can see the timeline, the
cuts, and hear the audio while it plays. This is optional but it
moves you to the front of the line.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
- Stage 2: if your timeline looks right, I send you ONE clip and
ask you to edit it and send back the project file. It's one
clip, so it's quick and unpaid. This just confirms you can
deliver a clean file in my version.
- Stage 3: if that's clean, I send you a full real video as a PAID
test at the rates above. Do well and you have the ongoing role.

Applications that skip the timeline screenshot or ignore the
version requirement won't be considered.
