?? READ THIS ENTIRE POST BEFORE APPLYING
Most people should not apply to this job. I'm going to tell you exactly why, so you don't waste your time or mine.
THE THREE HARD REQUIREMENTS
1. THERE IS NO SCHEDULE. WHEN WORK CALLS, YOU ANSWER.
This is the most important sentence in this post: there are no set hours.
I am not going to tell you to work 9 to 6. I'm going to send you a task at 7 AM, and another at 2 PM, and another at 8 PM, and sometimes on a Sunday. When something needs to be done, it needs to be done — not "tomorrow when my shift starts."
What this actually looks like day to day:
Some days are quiet. Two hours of work and you're done.
Some days are heavy. Calls, portals, documents, back and forth all day.
You will not know which kind of day it is when you wake up.
7 days a week. Saturday and Sunday are normal days here.
You are expected to see a message and respond within a reasonable window, all day, every day.
The total volume averages roughly 40–45 hours per week. It is not 70. But it is spread across all seven days and it does not respect a calendar. I do not need messages between 11 PM and 7 AM Eastern. Outside that window, assume you're reachable.
If you want a fixed schedule, a defined shift, or protected weekends — do not apply. You will be unhappy here and I will have wasted your time.
I am not apologizing for this. It's the job. I'm paying above market specifically because of it. Read that sentence twice and d
2. YOUR SPOKEN ENGLISH MUST BE EXCELLENT
You will be on the phone with Americans every single day — vendors, tow yards, government agencies, insurance companies. Not scripts. Real conversations where you have to understand a fast-talking American on a bad connection and get what you need out of him.
Written English is not enough. If you write beautifully but freeze on a live call, this is not your job.
A video is mandatory. No video, no consideration. Details below.
3. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO FIGURE THINGS OUT
I will not give you step-by-step instructions. I will tell you the outcome I need and expect you to work out how.
If your instinct when you get stuck is to wait for me to explain — this will not work. If your instinct is to try three things, then come to me with a specific question, we'll get along.
ABOUT US
A Florida-based automotive group: a 130+ vehicle rental fleet, a body shop, and a tech platform. Small team, no bureaucracy, direct access to the owner. Do good work and you get more responsibility and more money quickly. This is not a corporation with an HR department.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
Call US vendors, tow yards, and government agencies — get information, push things through, follow up until it's done
Manage tasks, notes, and databases in Notion (we'll train you)
Research: pricing, vendors, regulations, competitors — and give me a short clear summary with a recommendation, not a pile of links
Chase documents and signatures; keep trackers current
Navigate web portals: government sites, payment systems, toll accounts
Draft
Send me a short end-of-day report every day: done / blocked / next
REQUIREMENTS
Available 7 days a week, all day, no fixed schedule — see above
Excellent spoken English, minimal accent — see above
Strong, stable internet. Backup power/internet is a serious plus.
Quiet workspace, working headset, webcam
Extremely organized. Nothing falls through the cracks.
Follows instructions precisely — and asks when something is unclear instead of guessing
Works without being chased
Comfortable with Google Workspace
Plus: experience with US companies, automotive, insurance, or logistics. Notion or CRM experience. Any bookkeeping or QuickBooks exposure.
COMPENSATION
$1,300–1,600/month, depending on experience. The top of that range is a premium for the schedule — I know what I'm asking for.
Paid twice monthly via Wise or Deel
90-day review with a raise for strong performers
Paid time off after 6 months
Long-term role. I'm looking for someone to grow with the business, not a temp.
HOW TO APPLY — FOLLOW THIS EXACTLY
Applications that miss any step are deleted without being read. This is the first test.
1. Start your message with the word ORANGE.
2. One line: confirm you understand there is no fixed schedule, that this is 7 days a week, and that you're accepting that.
3. Record a 60-second video. Unscripted. In English. Do not read from a page — I will know. Tell me:
Who you are
One time you solved a problem when nobody told you how
This video is the single most important part of your application. Bad audio is fine. Reading a script is not.
4. In one paragraph, answer this: If I asked you to find the cheapest way to transport a car from Miami to Chicago, and gave you no other information, what would you do?
5. Tell me one thing you're genuinely good at that isn't on this list.
Shortlisted candidates get $50 for a short, real trial task before any offer. Real work, real money, before either of us commits.
