JOB OVERVIEW

Part-Time Digital Artist — Commercial Canvas Line
Type: Part-time (4–6 hours/day, flexible schedule) | Compensation: Hourly rate, negotiable based on experience | Start: Immediately

We're expanding a commercial canvas art line for sale on Amazon and looking for a talented digital artist to create original pieces from written briefs. This is ongoing PART-TIME work with room to grow into more hours for the right person.
What you'll do
• Create original digital artwork from written image briefs (concept, style, mood, color palette, target buyer)
• Work across multiple styles — Boho, abstract, modern minimalist, botanical, and other looks that appeal to broad audiences
• Deliver print-ready files sized for canvas (high resolution, proper color mode)
• Iterate on feedback and refine designs
• Timeproof will be required – but we do not micro manage time – just want good consistent production of art pieces.

What we're looking for
• Proven ability to create ORIGINAL art from scratch — not template or Canva-based work
• Ability to create work that appeals to a wide audience and that really attract buyer -needs to pop
• Strong Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop skills; Procreate a plus
• Traditional art background (painting, drawing, watercolor)
• Ability to adapt to different styles and aesthetics
• Understanding of print specs (300 DPI, CMYK, transparent PNGs, bleed)
• Reliable communication and consistent turnaround
• Clean portfolio showing range across multiple styles
• Working knowledge of copyright and trademark to help avoid IP pitfalls
