we're looking for a Assistant Video Editor to support the Lead Editor - and take ownership of editing on future channel we're launching and grow with us to become the new Lead editor and a main tea ---------- mber in the future ( future 1k+ /month salary )

This is a long-term opportunity, and full time job - this not a quick freelance gig or part time - its a hard job - not an easy one

So we're looking for someone who genuinely wants to become a better editor over the next few years- not someone looking for a temporary job !!!

This role is demanding. You'll be learning a detailed production system and constantly improving your editing

You are not responsible for scripting, thumbnail design, music selection, AI visual generation, final export, or full creative direction at the beginning. Your role is to master execution, visual storytelling, variation in edition (transitions and effects,..) and maximize retention under the Lead Editor. the most important skill is TASTE

The Lead Editor handles:

- Video titles, thumbnails, scripts, and creative direction
- AI image and video generation
- The intro sequence
- Music and overall sound-design direction
- Final review and final export

Your role is to:

- Enter the Premiere Pro project after the intro is completed
- Edit the remaining chapters into the timeline
- Match images and footage precisely to the narration
- Use appropriate motion, transitions, captions, overlays, and graphics
- Make each chapter match its emotional meaning
- Avoid repetitive, templated editing
- Flag missing visuals, policy risks, weak assets, or major creative decisions using timeline markers
- Apply feedback accurately and improve from video to video

- A title and short video brief
- Chapter direction
- A structured Premiere Pro project
- Ordered visuals organized by chapter
- Voiceover, approved assets, and clear editing rules

The images are already organized in script order. Your job is to bring them to life with taste, precise timing, pacing, and chapter-specific editing.

i want a reliable and experienced video editor to join our YouTube team. You must have:

availability daily for 6 long-form videos per week (40-60 min each video) "we upload daily"

HIGH QUALITY TASTE STORYTELLING VIDEOS , NOT SLOP OR LOW QUALITY FAST AUTOMATES
generic AI slideshows, or copy-paste editing. its calm documentary and cinematic ( see the examples below )

a branded channel with strong storytelling, visual taste, emotional pacing, and long-term quality. The goal is to create documentaries that viewers remember and watch until the end. designed to reach millions of viewers globally,

You'll work on content designed to:
- Hit 100K–1M+ views
- Keep viewers engaged for long durations
- Compete with fast-growing history channels

You won't just edit... You'll help shape:
- Pacing, structure, and storytelling
- The overall style we're building toward
## What We Need

You must have:

- At least 1 year of experience in editing for long form documentary YouTube videos
- understasning youtube and storytelling
- Experience with long-form storytelling videos
- Amateur Premiere Pro skills
- A good eye for cinematic pacing, retention, motion, and visual storytelling ( MOst IMportant )
- Fast, reliable communication ( crucialll)
- The ability to follow a detailed SOP without becoming dependent on constant instructions
- The confidence to flag a problem early instead of forcing a weak decision into the timeline
- A long-term mindset and willingness to improve through feedback
- a successuful high individual mindset who want to evolve not be an assistant forever

You must understand that every video needs its own identity.

We do not want:

- The same transitions in every video
- The same caption style every time
- Random visuals under narration
- Repetitive stock footage
- Predictable image timing
- Generic AI-image slideshows
- Factory-style editing

## Pay and Growth

- Starting pay: **400/month**
- Performance bonuses and pay reviews as the channel grows
- Long-term role for the right editor
- Opportunity to grow into a Lead Editor position for future channels ( higher salary to 1k/month )

## Selection Process

### Step 1 - applying

1-Start your message with your favorite movie .
2- Which editing example of us did you liked more and why ( detailed - talk alot here - important - no ai use( we will know ) )

### Step 2 — Short Editing Test
here's why we dont need to see your portfolio or read your ai respond , because the test will speak for you

candidates will receive assets for a **3 minute non-commercial test edit**.

The goal is to evaluate:
- Taste
- Visual selection
- Pacing
- Emotional editing
- Communication
- Ability to follow direction
- the ability to copy our previous 2 videos ( examples)

Deadline: 4 hours.

### Step 3 — Trial Period
The selected editor will begin with a structured trial period using the full SOP, feedback log, the file-level variation audit system, and project workflow.

## Do Not Apply If
- You have no experience editing long-form content
- You rely on generic templates
- You claim you can produce several 10 “high-quality” long-form videos every day
- You cannot take feedback professionally
- You cannot work inside a detailed system
- you wont reply fast and respect me and my time
- you dont value the script and the hardworkign that did go into the video you need to edit


Position Details:
- Full-time: 8h per day - Monday to Saturday - if you or me missed a day ( under serious causes ) , you need to work on sunday to fill the gap

## youtube policy must known deeply and understand every bit of each :
- Inauthentic content ( most important 1st place) ( most deeply )
- Reused content ( 2nd place important )

- YouTube Partner Program monetization policies

## tools:
Adobe Premiere Pro veriosn should be 2026 if you have it cracked - if you have the licence , the better and it need to be your main editing app , do not tell me this is better in capcut or can i use another one

study them should take miniumum for 1h if you study them correctly ( dont take that lightly for our both own sakes ) - if less - that mean you didnt understand them and know real storytelling... - reminder: you need to mimic the same style in the test
