JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for a talented and dependable UK Tax accountant to join the Sinclair Day team.

This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of UK taxation, who can confidently prepare UK tax returns independently while supporting our UK-based team. You'll play an important role in helping us deliver an exceptional service to our clients while working as part of a friendly and collaborative team.

What you'll be doing:
Preparing UK Self Assessment Tax returns
Preparing Corporation tax returns
Preparing the accounts for limited companies and sole traders
Supporting our team with bookkeeping and VAT queries
Working with cloud accounting software, Xero
Liaising with our UK team to ensure work is completed accurately and on time
Maintaining excellent attention to detail and confidentiality

We're looking for someone who:
Has experience of preparing UK Self Assessment and Corporation Tax Returns independently
Has a strong understanding of UK tax legislation and compliance
Has excellent written and spoken English
Has outstanding attention to detail
Is reliable, honest and takes pride in producing high-quality work
Can manage their workload effectively and meet deadlines
Works well independently and as part of a team
Has experience using Xero, preferred
