Job Duties:
Conduct comprehensive background investigations using investigative databases, public records, and OSINT resources.
Perform social media investigations across platforms including
Identify and document relevant activity, employment indicators, travel, lifestyle inconsistencies, and actionable intelligence.
Analyze digital footprints, associates, family connections, business affiliations, vehicles, and online activity patterns.
Assist with pre-surveillance intelligence development and field investigation support.
Prepare detailed investigative reports, timelines, summaries, and supporting documentation.
Conduct skip tracing and locate investigations.
Utilize mapping tools, property records, corporate filings, criminal records, and other public sources to develop investigative leads.
Review claimant statements, claim documentation, medical records, and supporting evidence when applicable.
Maintain accurate case documentation while ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards.
Collaborate with management, operations, and field investigators to support investigative strategy development.

Educational/Experience Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Journalism, Cybersecurity, Communications, or related field preferred.
Prior investigative experience preferred but not required.
Experience in insurance investigations, SIU, surveillance, background investigations, law enforcement, military intelligence, legal investigations, journalism, cybersecurity, fraud analysis, or related fields is highly desirable.
Familiarity with OSINT methodologies and investigative research techniques preferred.
Qualifications & Equipment:
Reliable computer with high-speed internet connection.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online investigative tools.
Ability to work remotely and independently.
Strong typing and documentation skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all legal and ethical investigative standards.
Reliable transportation may be required for occasional field assignments.
Experience using the following software systems is desired: Trackops, Clear, TLO, IRB, Page Vault, Hunchly, Brave Browser, MS 365.
