JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced social media growth professional to take ownership of our social media presence and be directly responsible for growing our audience, engagement and ultimately generating business opportunities.
This is not a role for someone who simply schedules posts or publishes generic content. We are looking for someone with a demonstrable track record of growing social media channels, particularly LinkedIn and YouTube, with Facebook and Instagram being secondary priorities.

Your success in this role will be measured by the growth and performance of our channels. We expect to see consistent progress over time, and you will be given the autonomy to develop and execute the strategy needed to achieve that.

About Us
We are an established UK business that has been trading for over 25 years. Unlike many online-only companies, we are a substantial physical business with a large warehouse and office operation in the UK.

We currently operate five brands:

----------
----------
----------
----------
----------

Until recently, marketing has not been a major focus for the business, meaning there is significant opportunity for someone to build something meaningful from the ground up.

The Role
You will take ownership of our social media strategy across all five brands.
LinkedIn is our highest priority as we are primarily a B2B business, but we also want to significantly grow our YouTube presence while developing Facebook and Instagram into valuable supporting channels.
You will be responsible for planning, creating and managing content across all platforms while working closely with our UK office team to create engaging, product-focused content.

A major part of the role will involve developing ideas and scripts for YouTube videos which can then be repurposed into shorter content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other platforms.

This is a management-level role. We expect you to identify opportunities, create the strategy and drive execution rather than waiting to be told what to post each day.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Grow followers across all social media channels.
• Increase engagement and reach through high-quality content.
• Grow our LinkedIn pages into industry-leading resources.
• Develop and grow our YouTube channel with long-form and short-form content.
• Produce engaging social media posts, graphics and videos.
• Create video scripts, content calendars and campaign ideas.
• Work closely with our UK office team to organise and capture content.
• Develop our email marketing strategy alongside our social media activity.
• Monitor analytics and continually improve performance.

Performance Expectations

This is a results-based role.

You will be judged on measurable improvements including (but not limited to):
• Growth in LinkedIn followers and engagement.
• Growth in YouTube subscribers, watch time and views.
• Increased engagement across Facebook and Instagram.
• Website traffic generated from social media.
• Lead generation and business impact where applicable.
• Overall improvement of our online presence.

We understand that meaningful growth takes time, but we do expect to see consistent progress. If you're someone who has repeatedly grown social media channels and can demonstrate those results, we'd love to hear from you.
If your experience is mainly scheduling posts or maintaining existing accounts without significant growth, this role is unlikely to be a good fit.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:
• A proven history of growing LinkedIn pages and YouTube channels.
• Strong content strategy skills.
• Excellent copywriting ability.
• Professional video editing skills.
• Experience creating content that generates genuine engagement.
• The ability to analyse performance data and improve results.
• Confidence working independently and taking ownership.
• A willingness to learn our products and industry in depth.

When applying, please include examples of social media accounts you have personally grown and explain your specific contribution to those results. We are particularly interested in measurable growth rather than simply content creation.

Working Hours
This is a full-time position.
Working hours are:
Monday to Friday
09:00 – 17:30 UK time (GMT/BST)
30-minute lunch break
As you'll be working closely with our UK-based office staff, these hours are essential.
This is not a freelance or part-time position.

Salary & Benefits
$8.53 per hour (approximately $1,500 per month, based on an average of 176 working hours).
Monthly pay varies depending on the number of working days.
Examples:
• 20 working days (160 hours): approximately $1364.80
• 23 working days (184 hours): approximately $1,569.52

Payment is made weekly via Wise every Friday.

Although this is a remote role, we treat our remote tea ---------- mbers as part of our UK office.

Benefits include:
• Paid leave for all UK public/bank holidays.
• Small cash bonuses or equivalent rewards whenever the company provides team lunches or staff rewards that remote employees cannot attend.
• Long-term career progression within a growing marketing department.

Career Progression
Our goal over the next 12 months is to build a dedicated marketing team.
The highest-performing person in this role will have the opportunity to progress into a management position leading other marketing tea ---------- mbers as the department expands.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY
• IF YOU ARE AN AGENCY
• IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO WORK PART TIME WHILE WORKING WITH OTHER CLIENTS
• You do not have significant experience in achieving results.
• You prefer simply scheduling posts rather than driving measurable growth.
• You are not looking for a long-term career opportunity.

We are looking for someone who wants to build something significant over the coming years and become a key member of our business.
