JOB OVERVIEW

The UX/UI Designer plays a key role in creating intuitive, visually engaging, and conversion-focused digital experiences for e-commerce brands. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design, visual interface design, and online customer behavior across desktop and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and experienced in designing seamless shopping experiences that enhance usability, strengthen brand identity, and drive conversions. Experience working with Shopify and other e-commerce platforms is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

Design user-friendly and visually compelling interfaces for e-commerce websites, landing pages, and mobile experiences.
Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design systems that align with user needs and business goals.
Optimize key e-commerce touchpoints including homepages, collection pages, product pages, cart flows, and checkout experiences.
Collaborate with developers, marketers, and stakeholders to deliver effective and brand-aligned digital experiences.
Design and improve user journeys for Shopify-based stores and other e-commerce platforms.
Conduct user research, review site behavior, and apply insights to improve usability, engagement, and conversion performance.
Ensure consistency in layout, typography, branding, and interaction design across digital platforms.
Stay up to date with UX/UI trends, Shopify design best practices, and emerging e-commerce experience strategies.
Assist with ongoing design enhancements, testing, and other digital creative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or in a similar digital design role.
Strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile design projects, preferably for e-commerce or consumer-facing brands.
Solid understanding of UX principles, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
Experience designing for Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, including product page design, navigation, filtering, cart experience, and mobile optimization.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
Strong attention to detail and ability to balance aesthetics, usability, and conversion goals.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to varying client needs.
