About us: Hala Digital is a web design and digital marketing agency in Newcastle, Australia ( ---------- ). The founder shoots client photo and video on professional equipment. Your job is to make that footage exceptional.

The role: Pure post production. No shooting, no posting. You will receive raw photos and footage and deliver finished assets.

Video: Full range of formats. Short form vertical content (Instagram reels and video ads) in modern styles with tight pacing, clean transitions, animated captions, sound design and motion graphics. Longer landscape work including website hero videos, brand films, client testimonials, promo videos and walkthroughs. Colour grading raw log or flat footage properly. Repurposing long shoots into multiple clips across formats.

Photo: Professional retouching and colour grading of client photography including real estate, food, products and people. Consistent looks across full sets. Thumbnails and cover frames for video content.

You are right for this if: You have 3+ years editing professionally, you are strong in Premiere Pro and After Effects (or DaVinci Resolve), you genuinely understand current short form editing styles (what performs on reels in 2026, not 2021), and you can grade, not just cut. Photo retouching in Photoshop or Lightroom at a commercial standard.

What we offer: Long term direct role, 13th month pay, Australian daytime hours (2 hours difference), consistent ongoing agency volume rather than one off projects, and a paid test task on real footage. Our clients span food, real estate, healthcare and local services, so the work stays varied.

Rate: $500-$1000 per month full time equivalent depending on reel quality. Starting part time (15 hrs/week), growing with client volume as our social retainers scale.
