JOB OVERVIEW

Roof Measurement Specialist — Immediate Start (Temporary, with Path to Permanent)
We have a large backlog of work and need to hire five people right away. This is a full-time temporary position with a real path to permanent employment for strong performers.
How this role works — please read carefully
Our workload rises and falls. When volume is high, we need everyone measuring. When it slows, some tea ---------- mbers are placed on standby — a temporary pause, not a termination. You stay part of our team and are first in line to be called back when the next surge hits (we expect these regularly).
Here's the important part: your performance d ---------- your standby risk. Our fastest, most accurate people are the last to be placed on standby, get first priority for ongoing work, and are first considered for permanent positions. If you do excellent work, you'll stay busy.
Schedule

Availability required Thursday through Monday, U.S. hours. Tuesday and Wednesday are your days off.
40 hours per week, with scheduled breaks included in those 40 hours.

What you'll do
Your main job is outlining homes on Google Earth with our measuring software to calculate each roof's square footage. This work is highly repetitive — you'll run the same process all day and need to hold both speed and accuracy. Tea ---------- mbers may measure 2,000+ homes per week.
Requirements

Highly proficient with computers
Able to move quickly between multiple windows and programs
Fast, reliable internet connection
Strong spoken and written English (we hold weekly tea ---------- etings)
Dependable, accurate, and comfortable working independently

Application & skills test
To evaluate speed and accuracy, you'll measure 50 homes (about 30 minutes). First you'll watch a short video showing exactly how to use the tool. We select the applicants who show the best combination of accuracy, speed, and attention to detail — and we train top scorers immediately.
We're hiring as fast as we can. Once all five spots are filled, this posting comes down.
We currently have nine other tea ---------- mbers doing this work — many for 7–14 months — and they've been very happy here.
