JOB OVERVIEW

Role: ArchiCAD Drafting Specialist

Responsibilities:

Produce and refine residential architectural drawings and construction documentation using ArchiCAD

Support the architect partner with drafting, design development, and project revisions

Prepare permit-ready and construction-ready drawing sets for residential design-build projects

Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure drawings reflect current design intent and specifications

Assist with construction estimating tasks and takeoffs as needed

Maintain organized project files and ensure version control across all documentation

Requirements:

Working proficiency in ArchiCAD with a portfolio demonstrating residential project experience

Background in residential architecture, construction documentation, or a related design discipline

Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and drawing standards

High level of attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, clean drawings

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment

Strong written communication skills for coordinating with tea ---------- mbers across time zones

Scope:

Drafting and modeling support for Pacific Crest Design and Build's residential projects

Scope to be tailored based on candidate strengths and evolving project needs

Potential expansion into estimating support and business development project documentation

Collaboration with the architect partner (Kyle) who oversees design-build operations

Collaboration with interior designer partner and staff regarding interior elevations and schedules
Visualizations and rendering support
Flexible working hours with a focus on task completion and deadline adherence

Integration into existing remote collaboration workflows using tools such as Teams
