Job Title: Guest Services & Reservations Specialist (Phone + Chat) — Boat Tour Company
Type: Full-time · US business hours (EST) · Long-term
We're a US-based boating and tour company. Our guests book trips with us by phone and message, and their first impression of us is often you. We're looking for a warm, sharp, reliable person to be the friendly voice and quick reply that turns inquiries into booked, happy guests.
What You'll Do:
Answer incoming phone calls from guests professionally and warmly (this is a core, daily part of the role)
Handle guest communications via ConversionAssist and FareHarbor — replying to inquiries, confirming details, and following up promptly
Manage bookings, reschedules, and cancellations accurately in FareHarbor
Answer questions about trips, availability, pricing, and policies
Turn inquiries into confirmed bookings with helpful, no-pressure service
Keep guest records and notes organized and up to date
What We're Looking For:
Excellent spoken and written English is essential — clear, natural, easy for US callers to understand. This is the single most important requirement.
Comfortable and confident on the phone with US customers
Reliable internet, a quiet workspace, a working headset, and a computer that handles calls well
Available full-time during US business hours (EST)
Organized, detail-oriented, and responsive
Experience with FareHarbor and/or ConversionAssist is a strong plus (not required if you learn fast)
Prior customer service, reservations, front desk, or hospitality experience preferred
How to Apply — please read carefully:
Applications without a video resume will not be considered.
Along with your written application, please include a short video resume (1–2 minutes) where you:
Introduce yourself and tell us where you're from
Briefly describe your customer service or phone experience
Answer this as if a guest just called: "Hi, I'm hoping to book a sunset boat tour for four people this Saturday — do you have anything available?" Respond the way you naturally would on the phone.
We're using this to hear your spoken English and phone manner, so please speak naturally — no script needed.
To confirm you read this, start your written message with the word "Anchor."
