About the Work:
We need a skilled Canva video designer to create reusable video templates for personalized real estate outreach.
We contact families connected to properties with public-record issues such as unpaid property taxes, deceased owner records, missing probate, title transfer problems, lawsuits, or heirship issues.
The video should feel helpful, calm, professional, and trustworthy. It should NOT look like a flashy social media ad. It should feel like a public-record walkthrough where we show the person what we found and explain it clearly.
What You Will Create:
You will create one reusable Canva video template that our team can edit for different properties.
The template should allow us to quickly replace:
Name
Property address
Tax amount
Date of tax record
County website screenshots
Obituary screenshot
Probate/court screenshot
Lawsuit screenshot
Cost estimate numbers
Callback number
Final call-to-action
The video will use screenshots from public county websites. You will need to make the screenshots easy to understand by adding:
Zoom-ins
Highlight boxes
Arrows
Callouts
Large readable numbers
Simple text labels
Smooth transitions
Clean slide timing
Voiceover:
We will likely record the voiceover ourselves. Your job is to build the Canva video so the slides, screenshots, numbers, and animations can be synced to the recorded voiceover.
The scenes should be easy to stretch, shorten, duplicate, hide, or delete depending on the property.

To Apply:
Please reply with:
Your Canva video portfolio or 2-3 examples of Canva videos/templates you created.
Your experience creating reusable Canva templates.
Your experience syncing slides or animations to voiceover.
Your expected hourly rate.
Your fixed-price quote for a 20-30 second paid sample.
Your fixed-price quote for the full Canva template.
Your estimated turnaround time for the sample.
Your estimated turnaround time for the full template.
The word “RECORDS” at the top of your application so I know you read the full post.
That’s enough to get a serious person to spend 1-2 focused hours, but not so much that you waste money on weak applicants.
Structure it like this:
Paid test: $30
Test length: 20-30 seconds
Expected work: 1 screenshot, 1 short script section, callouts, zoom/highlight, basic timing to voiceover or placeholder pacing
Turnaround: 24-48 hours
If excellent: full template project at $200-$350
If someone is clearly stronger and has a real video/motion portfolio, you can offer $50. But I would not go above that for the test.
