JOB OVERVIEW

Position: Freelance Graphics & Illustration Designer
Location: 100% remote (open to applicants based in the Philippines)
Starts: This week
Status: Freelance/hourly
Rate: $10 - $15 USD per hour, depending on experience. Paid twice per month.

Hours: 5-10 hours per week on average. This is project-based work, so hours vary. Some weeks will be busy, some will be light, and occasionally there may be no work at all. When projects come in, we need someone who can jump on them.

Schedule: Flexible. Work when it works for you, as long as you have a few hours of overlap with US business hours for feedback and reviews, and you hit your deadlines.

About us: We are a video animation agency that works with software companies to create explainer, demo, and Zoom testimonial videos and ads.

The position: We are looking for a freelance Graphics Designer and Illustrator Master to support our team on a per-project basis.

In this position, you will:
- Spend most of your time inside Illustrator (storyboards, promos, characters, etc.)
- Create and design storyboards for story-driven explainer videos in Illustrator.
- Collaborate with a staff editor and designer on the aesthetic/overall look and feel.
- Work within Illustrator to design/execute all graphics needed for motion graphics and videos.

Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience creating illustrations and graphics, and fluency in Illustrator.
- Comfortable with freelance rhythm: quick ramp-up on briefs, clear communication, and reliable turnaround.
- A reliable and fast internet connection is required, as well as a proper computer - no exceptions.

Plus, but not required:
- 3+ years of experience designing motion graphics and fluency in After Effects.
- 3+ years of experience creating and editing videos and fluency in Premiere Pro.
