Farzam Law Firm seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented, and litigation-experienced Paralegal
/ Calendaring Manager to support a busy plaintiff-side employment litigation practice. This role
is responsible for ensuring that all filings, service, court forms, deadlines, hearings, appearances,
and calendar events are accurately tracked, completed, and confirmed.
This is a critical litigation support role. The ideal candidate must be proactive, reliable, deadline-
driven, and capable of independently managing court calendars and filing obligations across
multiple active cases. The person in this position must understand that missed deadlines, missed
hearings, improper filings, or failure to confirm calendar events can seriously prejudice clients
and expose the firm to sanctions.
The ideal candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced with California
civil litigation. Responsibilities include filing and serving documents, preparing proofs of
service, tracking statutes of limitations, motion deadlines, discovery deadlines, court dates,
hearing dates, mediation dates, arbitration dates, attorney appointments, and all other case-
related deadlines. The candidate will also be responsible for checking court dockets, confirming
hearing dates, setting up remote appearances, tracking whether remote appearance requests are
granted or denied, and immediately notifying attorneys of any urgent issue.
This role requires excellent judgment, accountability, and urgency. The candidate must
understand that missed deadlines, missed hearings, improper filings, or failure to confirm court
appearances can seriously harm clients. Prior California litigation calendaring and e-filing
experience is required. Employment litigation experience and familiarity with Filevine are
preferred.
