Who we are

We’re Concept Accounting & Advisory, a Canadian CPA firm specializing in real estate businesses — brokerages, teams, and property investors across Canada. We’re small, growing fast, and building a modern, tech-driven firm without the corporate layers. We run on QuickBooks Online, Dext, TaxDome, and Microsoft 365.

We’re building our offshore team right now, and we’re hiring the people who grow with us as we scale. If you want to be an early, key member of a team (not employee #97), this is that.

What you’ll do

- Weekly and month-end bookkeeping (accrual and cash basis) in QuickBooks Online
- Bank and credit-card reconciliations
- Document and receipt processing in Dext
- Prepare month-end reports (balance sheet, P&L)
- Keep client books accurate, organized, and on deadline
- Managing multiple clients simultaneously in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

Must-have requirements (please don't apply without these)

? At least 2 years INSIDE a US or Canadian accounting firm serving multiple clients. (In-house/industry roles and freelance-only experience do not qualify — we need real public-practice firm experience.)

? Real, hands-on QuickBooks Online experience as your daily tool — bookkeeping and reconciliations. (Course/training-only QBO does not qualify — we won't be teaching you the software.)

? Solid grasp of accrual bookkeeping, debits/credits, reconciliations, payroll basics

? Based in the Philippines and able to work the full 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST night shift.

? Clear written English — you'll document work and communicate daily.

? Reliable internet (6 Mbps+ up/down) and a quiet workspace.

Nice to have:

? CPA license or in progress — if you're a CPA looking to grow, tell us; we have room to move you up.
? Strong Dext (receipts management) experience as your daily tool and TaxDome.
? 5+ years total accounting experience

Compensation

$1,500 – $1,700 USD/month, based on your experience, plus the bonuses and benefits above. Strong candidates who exceed the role can be considered for our senior band.
