The Role

ATAN's national footprint is built on 549 exclusive, precisely-mapped territories. We're hiring a GIS Production Specialist to produce new territory boundary maps and supporting documentation to our locked production standard, using our AI-assisted v2.0 production system.
What You'll Do
• Produce territory boundary maps following ATAN's documented methodology and QA checklist
• Pull and reconcile data from required sources (Census, county/parish boundaries, court jurisdictions, traffic data)
• Use ATAN's AI-native production tools to reduce per-territory production time while maintaining our gold-standard quality bar
• Complete the full QA checklist on each territory before submission
• Hit phased production timeline targets as the 549-territory map is completed
Must-Have Qualifications
• Experience with ArcGIS or comparable GIS/mapping software
• Strong attention to detail and comfort following a detailed, standardized production methodology
• Ability to work independently against a written manual and QA checklist
Nice to Have
• Prior experience with territory/franchise mapping, real estate, or logistics GIS work
• Experience integrating AI tools into a GIS production workflow
What Success Looks Like
• Consistent per-territory production time in line with the ~20–22 minute AI-native standard
