JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Video Editor Team Manager to lead our video editing team and oversee the creation of high-quality content for YouTube and other digital platforms. If you’re passionate about video production, have a keen eye for detail, and excel in managing creative teams, we want you on board!

Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of video editors to produce engaging and high-quality content for YouTube and other platforms.
Oversee the editing process from start to finish, ensuring all videos align with brand guidelines and objectives.
Provide creative direction and feedback to editors to enhance storytelling, pacing, and overall video quality.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet the highest standards.
Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to align video content with strategic goals.
Stay up-to-date with video editing trends, YouTube algorithms, and audience preferences to ensure competitive and innovative content.
Manage project timelines, assign tasks, and maintain efficient workflows within the team.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to video editing.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Video Editor Manager or similar leadership role in video production.
Strong proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Experience with motion graphics, sound design, and color grading.
In-depth understanding of YouTube’s algorithm, including retention, click-through rates, and audience engagement strategies.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong creative and storytelling abilities with a focus on high-quality output.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on successful YouTube channels or digital video projects.
Knowledge of video optimization techniques for social media platforms.
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
