JOB OVERVIEW

**Sales-Oriented Appointment Setter — US Insurance (Aged Leads, Phone) — Long-Term**

## Job Type / Terms

- **Type:** Full-time or part-time to start (open to the right person)
- **Schedule:** US business hours — **evening/night shift Philippine time** (you'll be dialing US Central Time windows, roughly 8:00 AM–8:00 PM CT). Must be reliably available in these hours.
- **Pay:** $[6–8]/hour to start + **per-appointment-showed bonus** once ramped (details in interview)
- **Start:** Paid test day first, then ongoing for the right fit

---

## About the Role

I run a US life-insurance agency. I need an experienced, **sales-oriented** appointment setter to call a list of aged mortgage-protection leads (people who previously mailed in a card requesting info) and **book them onto my calendar** for a quick phone appointment.

You are **not** selling and **not** quoting — I handle every insurance conversation myself. Your one job is to reactivate the lead, handle their objections, and lock in a firm same-day phone appointment. You'll dial on a multi-line dialer, follow a proven script, and book straight into my calendar.

This is a **long-term seat** for someone who's genuinely good on the phone. I'll give you the script, the system, and the leads. I need you to bring the phone skill.

---

## What You'll Do

- Make outbound calls to aged mortgage-protection leads on a multi-line dialer (expect 500–800 dials/day)
- Follow my reactivation script to warm the lead back up
- **Handle objections** — "I don't remember filling that out," "I already have insurance," "I'm not interested," "I'm busy" — and steer back to booking
- Book firm **same-day** phone appointments onto my calendar
- Confirm the callback number and pre-frame the appointment so the lead shows up
- Log dispositions cleanly after each call

---

## Who I'm Looking For (please read before applying)

**Required:**
- **Prior phone appointment-setting or telesales experience** — ideally US insurance, but strong US B2C phone experience counts
- **Excellent spoken English** — clear, warm, confident, easy for an older US homeowner to understand
- **Real objection-handling ability** — you can take a "no" or a "maybe" and turn it into a booked appointment without being pushy or robotic
- Comfortable on a dialer and hitting daily call volume
- Reliable internet, a quiet space, a good headset, and availability during US calling hours (your evening/night)
- Coachable — you'll follow my script and take feedback

**Not a fit if:**
- You've only done data entry, general VA work, or chat/email support (this is phone sales)
- You read scripts word-for-word and freeze when someone objects
- You're uncomfortable being on the phone all day
- You need daytime-PH-only hours

---

## How to Apply (follow this exactly — it's my first filter)

Applications that don't follow these steps get skipped. Applications that do move straight to a live interview.

1. Start your reply with the word **"HOMEOWNER"** so I know you read the whole post.
2. In 3–4 sentences, tell me about your **most relevant phone/appointment-setting experience** — what you sold or set, for what kind of business, and roughly how many dials/day you ran.
3. Record a **1–2 minute voice recording** (any format — Vocaroo link is fine) with **two parts**:

- **Part A — read this exactly as you'd say it on a real call:** *
"Mr. Johnson, good afternoon to you, sir. This is [your name]… [John], how you doing today? So I'm calling from the office of the field underwriter assigned to your mortgage there — a while back you got a notice in the mail about mortgage protection. Is that ringing a bell?"*

- **Part B — now stay in character:** I answer and say *"I don't really remember filling anything out."* Reactivate me and try to book me for a quick call this evening.

Part A shows me your delivery and English on real script wording; Part B shows me how you think on the phone when someone pushes back. I want to hear both.

That voice sample matters more than your résumé. If you're good on the phone, I'll know in the first thirty seconds. **Strong applications will be invited to a quick WhatsApp interview.**

## Why Work With Me

- Clear script and system — you're set up to win, not thrown to the wolves
- Long-term, stable seat for the right person (I'm not looking to churn setters)
- Performance bonus on top of hourly once you're ramped — you make more when you book real appointments that show
- Straightforward manager — I'll tell you exactly what "good" looks like and help you hit it
