About Us
The VA Effect is a US-based staffing company that recruits, trains, and places virtual assistants with business owners and entrepreneurs across the United States. We are growing fast and need a sharp, driven recruiter to help us build our bench of top-tier VAs.

About the Role
We are looking for a male Talent Acquisition Specialist to own our VA recruiting pipeline end to end. This is not a passive role — you will be proactive, organized, and relentless about finding the best people. You will be the first impression candidates have of The VA Effect and you will set the tone for the entire hiring experience.
Your responsibilities will include:

Posting job listings on OnlineJobs.ph and other platforms
Reviewing applications and screening candidates
Sending initial outreach messages to applicants
Scheduling and conducting first-round interviews
Scoring candidates using our interview scorecard
Collecting NBI clearances, references, and setup confirmations
Reaching out to references for verification
Keeping the candidate tracker updated at all times
Communicating with candidates throughout the process
Reporting daily to the founder on pipeline status

You're a great fit if you:

Have experience in recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition
Are highly organized and detail oriented
Communicate confidently and professionally in English
Can manage high volume — we interview 20+ candidates per day
Are proactive — you don't wait to be told what to do
Are comfortable with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and online tools
Are available full-time during US business hours
Are looking for a long-term role with room to grow into a leadership position

Bonus points if you have:

Psychology or HR background
Experience as a VA yourself
Experience interviewing or assessing candidates

Requirements:

Stable internet (25+ Mbps minimum)
Own computer with reliable specs
Backup power or internet source preferred
Quiet, professional workspace
Available for a video interview

Growth Opportunity
As The VA Effect scales, this role grows with it. The right person will have the opportunity to move into a Recruiting Manager or Team Lead position overseeing a full recruiting team.
