JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for an executive assistant. My wife, Laura, and I own an event center in Southern Indiana of the United States. Weddings currently represent 95% of our events.

Most of the day you will be nurturing and responding to leads (mostly brides) through SMS and appointment setting through GHL for the wedding venue. You will also need to? answer calls and be able to nurture some leads through phone conversations as well. Strong, clear, native English is important. We are looking for a positive, happy, energetic, warm, confident people-person.

The Executive Assistant part is that Laura and I will give you tasks that will help make the venue and business more efficient. For instance, you will do market research on all of the venues within 90 minutes of us and compare our pricing, and offerings to theirs, as well as analyze their online presence. You will need to create quotes for sales tours, set up accounts for booked clients in our event planning portal, and manually enter in/log payments that come in.

There will be some personal tasks? when we ?need help p?lanning trips or need administrative help.

We already assume and want you to have a great personal life of your own. We are sensitive to that, but we will need to be able to call and text you when you are working for/with us. Good, consistent, and reliable communication will be very important to us! You will need reliable internet and power, as well as a backup plan for outages.

It is easy for me to say, but I believe we are easy to work for, fun, and caring. We don’t want your tasks or life to be mundane. We see this as a partnership. We want you to feel like this is YOUR business and for you to take personal ownership of it and personally get excited when we do well. I know those are high hopes, but that is our desire.

We are generally open from 9am-9pm EST/EDT/Indianapolis/New York time. That is when the lead nurturing will happen the most. Our intention is to get a feel for applicants and schedules, but we anticipate hire at least one main and maybe two other assistants for this.
