Part-Time Bookkeeper / Accountant for Airbnb Property Management Company

We are hiring a part-time Bookkeeper / Accountant for our luxury short-term rental management company.

We are looking for someone with real accounting or bookkeeping experience by trade, not just a general VA who has used QuickBooks. This person will help us manage bookkeeping, invoicing, owner statements, monthly P&Ls, expense tracking, and financial reporting.

Main Responsibilities:

* Manage company bookkeeping
* Track revenue, expenses, cleaning costs, owner charges, vendor payments, and management fees
* Prepare monthly P&L reports
* Help create monthly owner statements
* Reconcile bank accounts, Stripe, PayPal, Wise, and other payment platforms
* Organize invoices, receipts, bills, and financial records
* Create and send invoices to property owners when needed
* Track reimbursable expenses owed by owners
* Help keep property-level financials organized
* Support year-end tax organization and 1099 tracking

Requirements:

* Real bookkeeping or accounting experience
* Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
* Experience preparing P&Ls and financial reports
* Experience with reconciliations, invoices, receipts, and expenses
* Strong Google Sheets or Excel skills
* Excellent written English
* High attention to detail
* Trustworthy and able to handle sensitive financial information

Strongly Preferred:

* QuickBooks Online experience
* Experience with Stripe, PayPal, Wise, or similar payment platforms
* Experience with Airbnb, short-term rentals, property management, real estate, or hospitality
* Experience creating owner statements or property-level reports
* Accounting degree, CPA background, or prior accountant role is a plus

Schedule:

Part-time to start. Hours are flexible, but we need someone who can consistently help with weekly bookkeeping and monthly reporting.

Pay:

Compensation will be based on experience, skill level, and role fit.
