JOB OVERVIEW

I'm a skin cancer surgeon in Australia, looking for an experienced Virtual Assistant to manage my personal professional brand. This is not an entry-level role. I need someone who has already done this kind of work for a professional, medical, or personal brand and can show me examples.

What you'll be doing:
- Planning, designing, and scheduling posts for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Writing captions and short articles in a professional, polished tone
- Monitoring and drafting responses to Google Reviews (for my approval before anything is posted)
- Updating my personal website (content edits, basic SEO, blog posts)
- Managing my professional email inbox and calendar
- Researching content ideas related to skin cancer awareness and surgical practice
- Creating presentations for professional talks that I will give at conferences
- General admin support, with scope to take on more over time

You must have:
- At least 2 years' experience managing social media for a business, professional, or personal brand
- Excellent written English - you can write like a professional, not just translate ideas
- A portfolio or work samples you can show me (this is required, not optional)
- Experience with Canva, a scheduling tool (Buffer/Later/Meta Business Suite), and a website CMS (WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace)
- Strong reliability - you communicate proactively and don't need to be chased

Bonus (not required, but a plus):
- Experience working with a healthcare, medical, or allied health client
- Basic SEO knowledge
- Video/Reels editing skills
