JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Social Media Manager and Content Editor to own our content pipeline across five platforms and drive real follower and engagement growth.

Jack Sotti is a London-based bartender, brand consultant, and hospitality entrepreneur. The portfolio includes Archive & Myth (UK Top 50 cocktail bar, Hippodrome Casino London), Renais Spirits, Channel 4 Sunday Brunch, and the At The Bar podcast. This role works directly with Jack.

Jack shoots all footage. You plan, edit, and publish everything.

PLATFORMS
Instagram (primary), TikTok, Xiaohongshu (Red Book), LinkedIn, Facebook

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Take raw footage and edit into polished short-form video for each platform. Adapt Instagram content natively for TikTok, Red Book, LinkedIn, and Facebook — different hooks, captions, formats, and pacing for each. This is not copy-paste repurposing.
Grow followers and engagement across all five platforms. This is a primary KPI. Track what works, report weekly, and bring ideas.

Maintain a content calendar. Brief upcoming shoots — tell Jack what to film, what format, and why. Write captions from briefs or voice notes, in his voice.

Respond to comments and DMs. Source UGC and mentions for resharing. Create thumbnails and story graphics in Canva

TOOLS REQUIRED
CapCut or equivalent video editor, Later or Buffer for scheduling, Canva, Google Drive, WhatsApp.
Red Book experience strongly preferred. Be honest in your application about your level of familiarity.

WHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE
Footage Jack shoots is live across all five platforms within 48 hours, adapted correctly for each one. Followers are growing month on month. You are bringing ideas, not just waiting for tasks.

Walk us through how you would take one Instagram Reel and adapt it for TikTok, Red Book, and LinkedIn. What specifically changes on each platform and why?

Describe your video editing process from receiving raw footage to publishing. What tools do you use and how long does a typical short-form edit take?

What is your experience with Xiaohongshu (Red Book)? If you have managed an account, describe it. If not, be honest about your familiarity.

Write a caption for a short cocktail video in your own words — no templates, no AI. The video shows a bartender making a martini at a high-end London bar. Three sentences maximum.

PORTFOLIO REQUIRED
Include links to at least three videos you have edited and published, and links to at least two channels you have managed. Include a brief note on your specific role and any growth data you can share. Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed.

COMPENSATION
Trial period (month one): $5/hour, 20 hours per week. Rate and hours review at 90 days.
