JOB OVERVIEW

Hello, I'm Mike Sheffield and I run a marketing and technology company called Coursie. At Coursie, we're looking for an SEO Specialist to help optimize our websites and a handful of our best clients' websites to dominate their local markets! We need your help to rank sites for search engine visibility, organic traffic growth and increased site ranking.

I'm looking for a skilled SEO Strategist / Technical SEO Expert / SEO Content Optimizer who I can build a long term relationship with as my go-to SEO specialist and digital marketing partner.

Your daily tasks will require 3 main skillsets:
1- Deep expertise in SEO best practices with a proven track record of improving search rankings and organic traffic
2- Technical SEO capabilities including site audits, keyword research, on-page optimization, and understanding of core web vitals and site architecture
3- Content strategy and optimization skills to identify high-value keywords, create and maintain consistent SEO-optimized content, and recommend/create new content opportunities across multiple platforms.

My perfect candidate would have solid experience with the High Level software and have expertise with link building strategies, local SEO, and analytics reporting (Google Analytics 4, Search Console)

Being proactive is key to this role! You will need to take my instructions, my business goals, my target audience, and competitive landscape and take ownership of its success, basically become my "extension" when developing SEO strategies.

I will be looking for your ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and transform them into actionable SEO strategies that we will be implementing across our sites.
